About Papigochi
Papigochi is a bilingual marketplace for event services — mariachi and DJs, photographers and videographers, venues, catering, decor, makeup, transportation and more. One side is planning something that matters. The other side is the independent business that will make it happen. We build the part in between.
Built for Every Celebration
Why we exist
Someone planning a wedding or a quinceañera becomes the project manager of a dozen disconnected places. The information is real — it is just scattered across all of these at once, with nothing holding it together.
A mariachi with thirty years of weddings behind them, a photographer whose work speaks for itself, a caterer everyone in the neighborhood already knows — talent has never been the shortage.
What is often missing is everything around it: a real website, the time to market, a booking system, a way to take a deposit, a way to be found by someone who has not already heard of them. Running an event business and running a technology company are two different jobs, and only one of them is the one they chose.
Social media can show the work. Papigochi helps turn interest into an event relationship — and a transaction.
Nothing on Papigochi asks a vendor to abandon the platforms where their work already lives. A reel is a wonderful way to see what someone can do. It is a poor way to check a date, agree a price, sign terms, and pay a deposit. That is the part we build.
Our mission
Papigochi is a two-sided marketplace, so the mission has two halves that only work together.
Make planning meaningful celebrations simpler, more trustworthy and less fragmented — so that discovering a vendor, understanding what they offer, reaching them, agreeing terms and paying all happen in one connected place instead of eleven.
Less time coordinating. More time on the celebration itself.
Give independent event businesses professional tools, real visibility and direct access to customers — without asking them to first become technology or marketing experts.
We want talented local vendors to compete on their work and their service, not on the size of their advertising budget.
Our vision
People planning celebrationsBusinesses that make them possible
We want Papigochi to become a place people genuinely turn to when they are planning something that matters — and a platform independent event businesses can use to grow and run the customer-facing side of their work.
Across communities, across languages, across markets. We are early and we are not pretending otherwise: this is the direction we are building toward, one real vendor and one real celebration at a time.
What we believe
A wedding, a quinceañera, a birthday, an anniversary, a graduation, a gathering that had no name until it happened — these become the memories people keep. Software that treats them as transactions gets them wrong.
A great mariachi, photographer, caterer, decorator, makeup artist, DJ, venue owner or planner should be able to present and run their business professionally without a large company behind them. The tools should not be the barrier.
Transparency, clear communication, honest pricing, real reviews and accountable payments are how a marketplace earns trust — not by claiming it. We design for accountability, and we do not promise guarantees we cannot keep.
English and Spanish are part of Papigochi's identity, not two products. Both languages have been first-class since the first line of code, because the communities we build for move between them inside a single conversation.
Papigochi succeeds when customers have celebrations they remember and vendors build stronger businesses. If the platform is winning while either side is losing, something is wrong with the platform.
Who it is for
Not one kind of event, one budget or one tradition. Papigochi is designed to hold the range of what people actually celebrate.
We are honest about coverage: Papigochi is growing, and not every service category or region has the depth we want yet. Where a category is thin, you will see that rather than a page of placeholders.
What you get
Papigochi tries to keep the parts of planning that usually scatter in one place.
Papigochi is the marketplace; the vendor performs the service. We do not guarantee any vendor's quality, availability, punctuality or the outcome of an event. What we can do is make the work, the terms and the price visible before you commit.
Browse vendorsPapigochi is not selling you a listing. Everything below is live today.
One honest limit: Papigochi-processed booking payments are currently available in US dollars only. Vendors in Mexico can build a storefront, publish services, and receive inquiries and bookings today, and arrange payment with the customer directly in the meantime.
Become a vendorOur story
Papigochi started from a simple observation: the people who make celebrations happen — the mariachi, the photographer, the caterer, the decorator, the DJ, the person with the best venue in town — are often extraordinary at their craft and completely on their own when it comes to being found, booked and paid.
On the other side, the person planning the wedding or the quinceañera quietly becomes the project manager. A dozen tabs. A folder of screenshots. Three group chats. A spreadsheet only they understand. The talent exists and the demand exists; it is the connection between them that keeps breaking.
So we started building the connection. Papigochi has been bilingual since the first line of code — not English with Spanish added later, but two equal languages, because the communities we are building for move between them inside a single conversation. That decision shaped the architecture, not just the copy.
We are early, and we would rather say so than pretend. Papigochi is a small team building carefully: real vendors setting up real storefronts, real customers sending real requests, and payment infrastructure we take seriously enough to be slow about. Every part of it gets better as more of both sides arrive.
The team
Papigochi is built by two co-founders. It is small enough that when you write to support, you are reaching us.
Co-Founder
Cesar leads product at Papigochi — what gets built, how it works, and how it should feel to use. The vendor experience, the customer experience and the direction of the marketplace are his call.
Co-Founder
Nancy leads the technical side — architecture, security and the payment systems underneath the marketplace. Nothing that touches an account, a permission or a vendor's money ships without her review.
Whether you are planning a celebration or you are the business that makes them happen, the fastest way to understand Papigochi is to look at it.
Papigochi is operated by Papigochi, LLC.
